I'm having problems with a dos file that we run overnight that sends some files to another ftp server server. Another company checked their logs, and we connect and can log in, but the files are not transferred. I was wondering if there is a difference between using put and send. Do new or older systems support one or the other?
The Linux man page for ftpsays it sendis "synonymous with put." And the MS docs for their command line client say, " The send command is identical to the put command ."
