JSON string intersection to inner layers using recursive function

I have a JSON input that can go to any number of levels.

I give an input sample

var d=getEntities( {"Categories":

    [
    {
    "count": 1,

            "Ford_Motor_Co":
                [
                    {

                    "entity": "Ford"
                    }
                ]
            }

I want to add the key value "Entity" at all levels to the array using recursion,

I can collect data from the first level using the line

<script type="text/javascript" src="dataDumper.js"></script>

<script type="text/javascript">

How do I enter internal levels for a JSON string using recursive functions?

I made a jsfiddle that traverses every object, array and value in a JS object, for example ...

function scan(obj)
{
    var k;
    if (obj instanceof Object) {
        for (k in obj){
            if (obj.hasOwnProperty(k)){
                //recursive call to scan property
                scan( obj[k] );
            }
        }
    } else {
        //not an Object so obj[k] here is a value
    };

};

I am not getting a recursion error (in Chrome). Can you use this to do what you want?

If you need to check if an object is used by an array if (obj instanceof Array)

, "", if (obj.hasOwnProperty('entity'))

( ) "entity", obj.entity = value obj['entity'] = value

(function recur( obj ) {
    Object.keys( obj ).forEach( function( prop ) {
        // Check if the property is an object
        if ( ({}).toString.apply( prop ) === '[object Object]' ) {
            // If it is, recall this function
            recur( prop );
        }
    } );
} () );
