I implemented the algorithm described here to highlight the most interesting part of the photo, but this is not very revealing, and I'm not sure if this is as good a job as some others. I would like to try to implement the best, but actually I do not know enough image processing to start.
Honestly, I don’t even know what questions to ask.
So, I'm looking here for a good algorithm that, when providing a jpg image, will find the area of this image, which ... is the backlight, if not the backlight, of the image and ideally did this in a minimal amount of time.
