How to open PDF in Android

How to open a pdf file from the server without saving it to the device and without using a third-party application. Because I do not want my user to download any application to use my applications. And I do not want to use a web view to open a pdf file.

This method worked in older versions of android:

In the new action:

        WebView webview = new WebView(this);
        setContentView(webview);
        webview.getSettings().setJavaScriptEnabled(true);
        webview.getSettings().setPluginsEnabled(true);
        webview.loadUrl("http://docs.google.com/gview?embedded=true&url=URL_of_PDF/fileName.pdf");
        setContentView(webview);

grant internetpermission in the manifest file.

USE the following method to open a PDF file with a third-party application already installed.

To open a PDF in an application, use:

Uri path = Uri.fromFile(file);
Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW);
intent.setDataAndType(path, "application/pdf");
intent.setFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TOP);
startActivity(intent);

To do this, you need to use PDF reader libraries. This link will help u
