Recently, an implementation of SVM has been added to Mahout, and I plan to use SVM. Has anyone else tried this?

Any new developments happening around SVM (vector machine support) in Mahout (Machine Learning with Hadoop) using Hadoop? Recently, an implementation of SVM has been added to Mahout. and I plan to use SVM. Has anyone else tried this? Very little information is available on the Internet.

Any help / guidance is appreciated.
