Intellij Idea Completion Style for Bash

Is there a smarter bash termination than normal. I imagine something like the Intellij Idea autocompletion function. For example, there is a folder called anExampleFolder , if I type aEF or even aef , and then click on the tab, it ends it or somehow opens the drops down.

fzf ("fuzzy finder for your shell") may be what you are looking for. For your cd-ing example for anExampleFolder, you have 3 options with fzf:

  • FD RETAEF↑ ↑ RET
    • fzf . aEF, , .
  • ALT C AEF ↑ ↑ RET
    • , ,
  • cd aEF ** TAB ↑ ↑ RET RET
