Dynamic query for translated keywords

I am trying to use a dynamic api request to determine if components are available in Tridion based on the user audience manager profile.

One of these fields in their profile is “Country”, which is written as free text in the extended part of the profile details of the audience manager, but based on a keyword from the “Countries” category. Unfortunately, we cannot store it as a keyword due to customer requirements.

It was expected that certain forms on the website being developed would be pre-filled using profile information from the audience manager, for example, having previously selected the user's country from the drop-down menu.

My concern is that if the "Countries" category was translated into another publication, it would be impossible to populate the drop-down menus of the countries by forms, since the names of the translated countries would be different.

Is this so, or is it possible to translate the profile of the audience manager?

If you can get the local keyword (Chinese in your example). From there, you can do “Use Items” to find the Parent keyword. I don’t have specific code, but if you check the GUI, you will see the parent on the “Used Items” tab if you use “Where Used” in the localized keyword.
