Undefined reference to t1sl_steup_key_block when binding OpenSSL

I had a problem linking the OpenSSL library to an existing project. Where am I mistaken?

Below are the steps that I followed.

I downloaded the SSL library, configured and installed it. It is installed in /usr/local/ssl.

2) I copied libcrypto.aand libssl.afrom /usr/local/ssl/libto my project, something like /mnt/linux/bla/bla/lib.

3) Then I edit the make file and add the libssl libcrpto path. The added path is the one that is in the project, for example/mnt/linux/bla /bla

When it builds, I get a long chain of errors like
