What are the technical limitations of the Gap / Cordova?

First off, touching the awesome apache cordova team to create a platform independent platform to build applications other than the platform is great stuff.

But since we know that HTML5 is still in draft mode, and I’m thinking about applying Cordoba in this direction, what are the technical limitations for Cordoba right now?

And what are the pros and cons compared to Sencha Touch 2, as I see it, ST2 appears during my searches in Cordoba.
