I want to download and install the iOS6 SDK, but I am worried that I will exit through the door and I will not be able to retreat. I need to continue iOS5 development ready to play with iOS6. Is there a problem that both SDKs are installed? (I really understand that the OS is installed on certain devices, I will have iOS5 and iOS6 devices.)
I downloaded and installed a new beta. Since Xcode 4.3, Xcode is mostly autonomous, and 4.5 exists happily next to 4.3

Do not do that. I downloaded 4.5 from the iOS 6 SDK, and now the base SDK is installed in iOS 6, and I can’t change to anything less than 6 and half of the libraries that we use, complaints about the armv7s slice.
