I noticed that some applications in the play store show the “Allow automatic updates” checkbox with a checkmark during installation, some why? Are there any settings or permissions for this in the manifest file, or is it something available for preloaded applications or applications with a vendor / manufacturer certificate? What do I need to do to enable the automatic automatic update function for my application in the playback store as a regular developer. Below is the image I'm referring to.
