WiX: register a .NET COM component as x86 x64

I have C # COM.dll. I would like to install .dll once, but register it for both x86 and x64.

Here is the WiX for x64 registration only:

How can I write to HKCR \ CLSID, HKCR \ Wow6432Node \ CLSID, HKLM \ Software and HKLM \ Software \ Wow6432Node all at once?

Try using the regasm.exe/ x86 and / x 64 switches .

You also have 32-bit and 64-bit versions regasm.exe, one in C:\windows\microsoft .net\<version>\Frameworkand the other in Framework64, see if this helps.

Install two copies of the file, one under ProgramFiles64Folderand ProgramFilesFolder. Waste .5MiB, but simple.

I managed to register the same DLL on a 64-bit system for x86 and 64bit, playing with two components, one for 64-bit and one for registering x86:

I added the Guid- Attributes in the Node component, changed the identifier for the second component and added the Win64 attribute = "yes" . Also I do not duplicate the file. Hope this helps if you have a lot of dependencies and will not duplicate files.
