I recently expanded JPanel for use in a project that we want to look more "3D". This is the way my bosses require shading and rounding corners on components. This has been accomplished, as shown in many online examples. I did it like this:

What I would like to do is create a red, green and blue panel with rounded corners, but filled with another image instead Color. I still want the correct rounded corners, but I'm not sure how to do this.
