TinyMCE character count is incorrect

I am using TinyMCE in the text box on my page. I am trying to get the number of characters and words, and a text area is inserted into it. I try to use different versions so that they work correctly, but to no avail. Here is the most recent error:

Here is my example. I enter the first word as: Me When I type the first word, it shows the characters and the word correctly. But as soon as I press the spacebar to enter the next word, it shows that the characters are 8. How? IMO, including HTML tags. The HTML code is as follows:

The internet memory is infinite, and most threads on tinymce do not work in version 4. My solution is simple: change the wordcount plugin as follows:} return e + 'Chars:' + a.getContent (). length} and change the onkeyup code to exclude the verification of the key code 32 a.on ("KeyUp", function (a) {b ()})}, 0)}), it works like a charm; inserting these results into a tinymce instance requires a plugin, but this is a minor modification of the sample plugin
