The difference between RASPHONE.exe and RASDIAL.exe

I am trying to make a dial-up connection programmatically. I tried with RASdial.exe and RASPhone.exe. Both do the same, except RasDial.exe displays errors on the console where RasPhone.exe gives in the user interface.

Can someone explain to me the difference between Rasdial and Rasphone, as well as the one that is suitable for establishing remote access. And I want error messages in the user interface, not in the console.

Please explain to me in detail.
