Google Places API: Place data limited to 5 reviews

The output list of “reviews” appears to be limited to the top 5 reviews. This is not mentioned in the documentation. Is there a way to get paginated results or more than 5?

This is explicitly stated in the documentation here in the field reviews[]:

reviews [] a JSON array of up to five reviews.

There is currently no way to get more than 5 reviews. If you think this will be a valuable feature, you can post it Places API - Feature Request here .
