Xcode 4.4, iOS 5.1 simulator. Twitter map issue

Just upgraded to Xcode 4.4 in Mountain Lion and ran into a problem. The built-in Twitter platform does not work on iOS Simulator. It seems that many developers upgraded to Xcode 4.4 have the same problem:

So the questions are:

  • Is this a simulator problem? Will this twitter code work on a real device?
  • It is known that from iOS 6 it will be another built-in structure for connecting to social networks. Can an iOS 5 tweeter app be delayed now from the appstore?
