Putty settings - different icons for different sessions?

I want to customize my putty sessions to change the icon depending on the group the putty session is in. Essentially, I want my taskbar (Windows 7) to have an icon for each group that I define, but each of these icons should be different. Is there a good tool or way to do this? Thanks so much for any answers!

I did it manually.

  • Create a putty shortcut on your desktop
  • Edit the line "Target:" in the properties of the right mouse button (add -load <session name>)
  • click Change icon and select icon -
