Create a button with the correct triangle / pointer

Looking to create this: button with right arrow / pointer

What would be the best way to achieve this?

IT MUST: I would definitely like to save the text as text (so I don't use the image). I would also like this to be reused so that I can put other text in it. Ideally, the part of the arrow should be as tall as the text.

NICE: I would like it to be possible on any background (so it’s not always on white) It would be great if it were ie8 +
