Managing the Eclipse plugin in IBM RAD

I installed RAD 7.5 and found out that IBM is not as good as I thought about it. RAD has its own "installation manager", which does not seem to resolve any dependencies. Does anyone know how to enable the standard eclipse installer and / or the Eclipse Marketplace?

You should be able to enable the "classic installation" in the settings, and then use the traditional installer to attract third-party functions. However, you still have to use the IBM Installation Manager to apply patches, updates, and new components from IBM / Rational.

I use IBM Rational Developer for Power Systems (which, it seems to me, shares a kinship with RAD), and all the usual plug-in options and Eclipse functions, as well as the Marketplace, are available.

You may have a damaged installation.

It may be worth contacting IBM to find out if they help determine why options are not available to you.
