Running war file from Maven Tomcat Plugin - is it a plugin using the wrong file?

I develop a web application using Vaadin and configure it so that it runs in customization of development, intermediate and production activities. My problem is that it is difficult for me to get the Tomcat7 Maven plugin to run my war file. The war file is in order - I looked through it using the editor. I use placeholders in my spring -context.xml (which I call applicationContext.xml) to stand behind the database information. I use Maven's resource filtering to replace real data with owners. This works in a war file.

However, when I try to start with the Tomcat7 Maven plugin, I get the following error (I did not take into account the cleanup and testing messages):
