What are the differences between open source BPM tools (such as Activiti, bonita) and Windows Workflow Foundation

I tried to find a free open source BPM tool based on asp.net, but unfortunately I did not find such a tool.

But I recently read an article on the Windows Workflow Foundation, so that it provides functionality similar to open source BPM tools like Activiti, bonita, Joget, etc. Or the Windows Workflow Foundation cannot be used to create a full-fledged business as in Activiti and other open source BPM tools.

The first thing to remember is that WF is not a BPM tool, but rather a framework that can be used to create a reliable and flexible set of business flows. If you are looking for a solution that provides you with many built-in functions in which you do not need to do any encodings, but simply overlay shapes on a sheet - WF is not your tool.

However, I would recommend WF highly. Firstly, the performance in WF 4.0 is very good. Secondly, it is distributed through a web server farm. Third, this flexibility gives you the strength you need along the way to get to those extreme cases.

Forget about WF. This project has been dead for years. We are just waiting for Microsoft to finally want it.
