I am new to StackOverflow and usually find the answers I am looking for here. Except this time. I'm confused. Here:
A few weeks ago, I downloaded Delphi Chromium Embedded version 306 and installed it on a new copy of Delphi XE. Now it has been grabbed from the “Downloads” section of the DC Code Google page.
The first thing I noticed was that the site mentions that Delphi XE is supported, but there is no project package specifically designed for XE. Naturally, I installed a package designed for Delphi 2010, since one that for XE2 will not work due to FMX, and maybe a few other things (?).
Using the previous version on D7 in the past, I naturally dumped TChromium in the form, set the default URL to http://foundry-local/assist/node/and started the application. Here I was met:
EExternal Exception in libcef.dll ... External exception 80000003.
Failed to post anything to their new Google group (they turned off problem tracking on the code page), so I thought I would come here to find out what happened. But just before that, I decided to check the latest version of the code from the trunk. It installs successfully (there is no XE package), TChromium fell in an empty form and launched the application. This time I was met as follows:
EReadError exception in the FoundryAssistNodeManager.exe module on 0004BE24. Error reading Chromium1.Options.AcceleratedCompositingEnabled: Invalid property path.
: confuzzled.
