Screenshot in Java (robot, code works, but not with an external full-screen application)

I use the following code to take a screenshot:

        Robot robot = new Robot();
        BufferedImage image = robot.createScreenCapture(screenRectangle);
        ImageIO.write(image,"png", file);

This code works well. When the program starts, screenshots on the desktop are taken.

However, when I try to start the first game, the application is in full screen , it does not work correctly. It displays either a black screen or the same “original” snapshot.

Is this problem known and how to fix it?

Second question: Is it possible to imitate some kind of “print screen” that we can use on the keyboard to solve this problem? Because I can use the print screen key when the application starts in full screen and when I insert, I got my screen.
(Like this, but in java: Copy the contents of a screen or active window ?)
