Android GCM-GCMRegistrar checkManifest (this) - Manifest file error

I am trying to implement GCM, but I am getting an error message, I am trying to find the logs on the Internet, but I cannot. When the code falls into these lines, I get a logcat error message

GCMRegistrar.checkDevice(this);
GCMRegistrar.checkManifest(this);

Put permission in manifest File:

<permission android:name="com.example.gcm.permission.C2D_MESSAGE"android:protectionLevel="signature"/>
            <uses-permission android:name="com.example.gcm.permission.C2D_MESSAGE" /> 
            <uses-permission android:name="com.google.android.c2dm.permission.RECEIVE" />
