Exclamation mark in the upper right corner of the window - above the close button

When I open some Java applications, especially examples launched from Java Web Start, I often see an exclamation mark next to / closing the close button depending on the size of the window. This is actually a bit of a concern.

What does this mean and what is its function?

This means application. with sand. Its function is to inform the user that the application. works with sand.
