Xcode is an application downloaded from the Internet.

I am new to Mac. I downloaded Xcode_4.5.dmg. When I double-click on it, it opens a new window and shows one file - Xcode. When I double-click on it, I get a warning: "Xcode is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?"

I think I did not install Xcode correctly. So I tried Control + Click, but there is no way to install. So how to install it?

thank

Do not worry about the warning if you downloaded the DMG file from a safe place, such as Apple Connect . A message from Mac OS X that warns you that you really want to open the file.

, DMG, Xcode "" Mac.

Xcode - App Store. App Store Lion (10.7), Mountain Lion (10.8) Snow Leopard (10.6).

Mac. , , . "", .

Now what you really want to do is drag the Xcode icon from the .dmg folder to the application (you can see it on the taskbar from the side or bottom or left, depending on how you set up your system. After a few minutes, so that the file is unpacked and moved to the application. Then, when you click on Applications, Xcode should be there. Of course, the first time you click on it, the Mac will ask the same question: "Xcode is an application downloaded from interenet .... "Say well and you're tuned. Good luck!
