I am an amateur (desktop), but I want to get on the phones. I have ideas for applications, but the touch screen and it misleads me ....
I know that touch screens can accept multiple touch points. For example, when scaling, you make two fingers, and you bring them closer .. and to zoom in, you do the opposite.
Here is my problem though ... I have never seen functionality with any phone application on any phone (I use Windows phones and Android phones), where .... the input on the touch screen is a few dots, but it does not start at the same time.
I will give an example for illustration. Suppose you have a mini browser on your phone ... and it has a vertical scroll bar ... and a horizontal one. What I want to do is scroll down ... and WHILE I scroll down and scroll horizontally so that I can move the page left or right. So a few seconds after touching the screen and starting to move the vertical scroll bar up or down ... I want to use the other finger and touch the horizontal scroll bar and move it (at the same time).
Is it possible? Are there certain hardware or software limitations that prevent this?
