“Available Sort List” will not remove options from the drop-down list.

I want to remove / hide some attribute sorting options in my categories.

To do this, I unchecked the "use all attributes" checkbox and selected the attributes that I want to display in sorting.

After that, I cleared the cache and re-indexed categories and products.

But I still have all the attributes showing a sorting of choice. Can someone help me please?

I use a modified toolbar.phtml to hide the sort option “position”, but I think this has nothing to do with the problem:
