Is it possible for an Android device to read information from a wii and nunchuck controller?

I am new to Android development and ask a few questions.

1: Can I get Android devices to read and use information from a Wii controller and nunchuck? The functions that I need from the Wii controller are motion (imagine a game in which you swear in the air and similar movements occur in the game), a joystick on a nunchuk and buttons on both controllers.

2: If possible, where can I learn to implement this in my application / game?
