Access to this process is not possible because it is being used by another process.

Let me draw a picture if you want. All the messages that I read regarding this problem, the only thing I did not find is the solution / cause of the problem. Why didn't MS install this?

I am working on a solution at home and at work, and we have Team Foundation Server (TFS). When at home, I have a VPN. I have VS 2010 SP1, Win XP SP3 at work and Win 7 64 bit at home with SQL Server 2008 R2 developer.

For many years, I worked without problems in debugging what has ever been from anywhere.

Most recently, we published an application on a server from a workstation (Win XP SP3 Pro), and only since then I get this: "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

I have no problems working from home. (WIn 7 64-bit machine), and I did not publish from home what it was worth at all.

When at work I have to restart VS or save the open and endprocess task manager for a process named appname_vshost.exe (or simular) 2-3 times before debugging will be performed again smoothly. If I do not have a VS IDE, it is very painful to respond slowly.

I completely deleted the project files locally and extracted them from TFS. Everything works fine until I edit anything in the solution (project), and it starts all over again.

Does anyone know of any solutions that I may not have found yet? I think that creating a “work around” is a gang and not an idea of any ideas?
