How to add a new Mime type and associate it with a new application?

In case someone is facing the same problem. I found the answer:

• Create a new Mime type. You can specify a different type of mime , in this video the author uses the text , but you can use the application or image , etc. All available types are listed in the "usr / share / mime" folder.
• Create your own application and place the symbolic link in the "usr / bin" folder.
• "~.local/share/applicationstons" new_mime_name.desktop.
