Background

• I have a solution containing a console project and MVC4 Webapp.
• Both are Oracle.ManagedDataAccess (ODP.NET Managed Data Access Provider). Link to the same file.
• Not a single Oracle.ManagedDataAccess DTC link.
• In VS Configuration Manager, the platform appears as “Any processor” for all configuration settings.
• The goal of the platform for both is "Any processor"

Problem

The console application works great.

When I try to use the MVC4 application, I see:

Could not load file or assembly 'Oracle.ManagedDataAccessDTC' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

It should be noted that I know that this is a bit problem between the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the Oracle.ManagedDataAccess DLL.
