Fiddler cannot connect to my https server and does not work at the very stage of CONNECT. Firefox opens the site just fine. Here [1] is a screenshot of the requests. I tried with Charles, and he was able to list the request, but was unable to decrypt the requests [2].
Note that other HTTPS services seem to work fine with fiddler

I had a similar problem with all SSL sites. This happens when there are many certificates in the following folder: C: \ Users \ <username> \ AppData \ Roaming \ Microsoft \ SystemCertificates \ My \ Certificates
