Android X86 on vmware, Google Play requires Wi-Fi

I installed Android X86 4.0 RC2 (eeepc version) on a vmware machine (I prefer VMware because it is really faster than Android Virtual Device). I turned on ethernet using the terminal, and the Internet and Maps are working efficiently.

But when I open Google Play (I need this service not only for installation applications), it asks for an account and requires a Wi-Fi connection to complete the operation. Obviusly, VMware does not emulate a Wi-Fi network.

Any possible solution?
