Horizontal column width does not work

i created a datatable that contains some test data. My problem is that some values ​​are too large for one of my columns, which leads to a weird layout:

(two other columns should appear after the order column)

I have already tried a few things:

• <p:column headerText="Orders" width="50"> without changes
• <p:column headerText="Orders" style="max-width: 30px;"> makes a smaller column, but the value is cut out after 30px
• adding after several numbers a <br/>for forced markup, but without changes

The order value is one large string. My goal is to change the order column to a multi-line column where the string value is split.
