I am creating a chat site that can do video, audio and text communication. I am currently using Websockets for text communication. I need to know what is best in video, audio and text chat. Which one is more effective. Should I use Websockets for all of them or webRTC for video and audio and websites for text chat. I can do both, and I would not want to rewrite text chat for webRTC, but if this is the best option, then I will.
EDIT: I just found out about binaryJS. Is this the best and easiest alternative to webRTC?
