Support for ACS ACR122 SDK for Android Peer-to-Peer?

I want to connect ACS ACR122 to an Android tablet via USB using their SDK. This part works, and I can read Mifare NFC cards.

Problem: I cannot read NFC smartphones like Galaxy S3 or Nexus S when I touch ACR122.

When looking at what the ACS provided, it looks like they left off the peer support for the Android SDK for the Android SDK.

Does anyone know of a solution, workaround or alternative. I am trying so that my tablet can read from an NFC smartphone.
