Going to the page background to scroll through css3 / javascript

I am looking for some solution to go to the background image of a page (animation) to scroll while moving to the next or previous div using a scroll or link. Here is an example site http://zurb.com/manifesto with moving / animating objects along the scroll. If anyone can help with this technique.
