What new (if any) distribution / preparation do I need for version 1.1 of my application?

Do I need to create a new distribution certificate or something special before creating and uploading a new version of my existing application to Apple?

Or am I saving everything else the same as before to save the version and create the information?

You can keep it the same while you update the version information. If your profile has not expired.
