What is the reason for SilverLight's asynchronous call? You can’t have a synchronization call when communicating with the WCF service?

The bottom line is: if Microsoft allowed each petition to sign Tom, Dick and Harry blowhard / hotshot developer to make synchronous calls, because they are too lazy and whiny to learn how to do it better, there would definitely be many very unhappy people with frozen browsers in SilverLand - and guess who is to blame? Microsoft!
