@protocol vs class cluster

What are the main pro and contra for @protocoland cluster clusters in Objective-C?

Both of them introduce Loose Coupling in the program architecture. Are they conceptually nearly equal or is there something else worth knowing?

Caution: not cocoa pro, but I do not believe that they are equal at all.
