Someone else experienced something similar with Delphi, and if so, then there is a well-known workaround!
I am using Delphi 2010 Rad Studio for Windows 7 64 bit.
Several times when editing the IDE freezes, and I can not do anything with either the keyboard or the mouse. But from the windows there is a sound signal with an error, for example, somewhere there is a modal window, but hidden behind itself.
Only by terminating ide through the task manager can I make this hidden mod window visible.
