Sybase drivers for Delphi 2010

We are moving from Delphi 6 to Delphi 2010, previously we used the BDE engine to connect to the Sybase Database from Delphi 6. We found out that Delphi 2010 does not support BDE.

We are trying to use dbexpress, but we cannot catch the exception (error raise) that Sybase has chosen.

Could you tell me if there is a driver other than dbexpress to connect to the Delphi 2010 Sybase database.

Thank.

Regards, AS

You can try a workaround:

  • Install Delphi 6
  • Update BDE to the latest available version (in my opinion, there should be some updates on the Embarcadero website).
  • Install Delphi 2010

IIRC SQL ( ), - Delphi 2010. .

Devart UniDac Sybase dbExpress, .

And you really have to get BDE from your application. He is dead like a handful.
