SQL Server 2008 launches a large query - from memory

I have a SQL Server 140mb query to import data into a new database. i file> open the request and try to execute it, but I get:

Exception of type'System.outofmemoryexception' was thrown. (mscorlib)

I got 8 GB of bar using <3gb, and what can I do?

This is a known issue reported by Microsoft Connect:

If you look, you can see some workarounds, such as using SQL CMD to execute and edit in Notepad ++.

It seems that they will not fix it.
