ImageView not showing on Android

When I try to display an image using ImageView on my emulator, it appears. When I add a button, the image does not appear.

I don't know if this helps, but my XML when it works:

In fact, the problem is that you did not specify the orientation. LinearLayout.By default, it is horizontal, and you set layout_widththe button fill_parentto fill the entire area. You must either set the vertical orientation or set android:layout_width="wrap_content"the buttons in the tag.
