I cannot insert a volumetric amount of data into an Azure SQL Server database using C # webapi
Consider
I want to insert 60K> data into SQL. There is no problem on my local sql server, but in Azure SQL its connection timeout
My approach: (all work on the local sql server, but not on the Azure sql server)
1) I tried to use EF my insert record one by one (for 10,000 approximately 10 minutes, mostly timeout)
2) Tried to use Mass Insert Extension with EF 3) Tried in SqlBulkCopy
4) I tried to increase the connection time in the connection string
5) Tried to increase the execution time of the command in Dbcontext.
StackTrace exception
Execution Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Execution Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The wait operation timed out
