Google spreadsheet for gmail and save formatting

Is there any way to cut / paste google spreadsheet in gmail? In particular, I have a formatted table, which is quite simple, but when I cut and paste it into gmail, the column headers fail and move away from the data under the headers.

I heard about the web clipboard, but this does not appear in gmail.

I am using the latest version of Chrome.

This is not the best process, but you can load the Google spreadsheet into an Excel file. Then paste the contents of the sheet into Word. Then paste the content from Word into Gmail. This usually saves most of the formatting. Of course, you can only do this if you have MSOffice and a lot of extra time.
