Hardware Requirements for Installing Lucene (Solr / Zoie / Elasticsearch)

I am working on a project where we are trying to enter a search phrase. We will begin to develop soon, so far we have been engaged in some kind of preparation. We are struggling with ratings for equipment. I'm not sure that our performance requirements can be met using a single server installation or if we need to switch to a replicated or distributed solution.

Here are our basic requirements.

  • Search semi-structured data
    • Documents contain 15 fields, all of which must be searchable.
    • Mostly numeric identifiers
    • Dates
    • The names
  • 10+ million documents in the index
  • 30-40 updates every minute.
  • <100 ms search time response with multiple boolean operators for 100+ queries pr min
