I have seen this problem all over the internet, but still have not found a clear solution that worked for me. Here's the problem:
I am trying to create a web service client in Java. The client should be a console application that will be hosted on the server and automatically launched at a specific time interval. The web service that I am trying to use was written and hosted by a third-party company. The service was written in ASP.NET. The company has several services that we have hit. They are all written in ASP.NET. I never did these services until 2 days ago, when I was instructed to use 2 services and create an Excel spreadsheet from the data. Before continuing, let me describe my development environment. Some of them are relevant, some are not, but I want to include all:
- Windows 7 Professional 32-bit
- NetBeans IDE 6.9.1
- Java JDK 1.6.0_17
- jre6
- Glassfish 3 Open Source Full-Platform Release
- All software has all available updates.
